**Sash Measuring
Sash opening height is 6″ greater than two times the height of the glass size. Sash opening width is 4″ than the glass size width.
The bottom sash of the Double Hung windows are beveled 14° unless otherwise specified. Double Hung Sash are bored and plowed for ropes and weights unless otherwise specified.
Transoms, cellar sash, attic sash, casements, French windows, and picture sash are available with the same detail and cross section as stiles and rails for Double Hung sash. These sash are made without any bevel on the bottom unless requested.
Sash sets are used when the frames are in good shape and it is more economical to replace the sash. The sash can have insulated glass to improve efficiency.
