Custom Built Windows

Adams Architectural has worked on all size projects, from large, commercial buildings involving hundreds of windows, to one of a kind single sash replications for a home or small town church. No matter the project size, Adams works hard to recreate every detail including matching profiles (sticking), glass, muntins and hardware.

Our timeless, traditional construction methods are combined with the latest in modern technology to achieve the finest quality product possible.

All joinery is of mortise and tenon construction, permanently fastened with sash pins. Round top and larger curved sash sections are joined with through splines, pinned and glued for a strong, long-lasting bond.

Sash and jamb sections are carefully matched by hand, and all windows are hand glazed. Wood parts are individually sanded for a smooth, finish-ready surface. And, we use nothing but the finest materials as specified by you for your project.

Historic restoration professionals around the country rely on us to provide historically accurate windows of superior quality. We are a member of the National Trust for Historic Preservation and work within the guidelines of National Park Service.
